Margaret Clapham the founder of Sales Growth draws on over twenty-eight years’ experience as a director and in managerial roles within the facilities management, catering, food services and hospitality industries.

Her award-winning track record demonstrates achievements in enterprise sales by:

  • Exceeding annual sales targets of up to €15m
  • Achieving double digit revenue growth for 5 consecutive years

  • Diversifying the business mix from food only to a 50:50 split with facilities management services

Margaret held a dual role with overall responsibility for growing the Irish business whilst also leading complex PAN European multi service tenders. She was part of the Executive Leadership Team for Corporate Services in the UK and Ireland and a council member for the UK & Ireland Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Margaret’s professional approach and accomplishments were recognised at a European level at the European Women in Sales Awards (WISA) in the Sales Director category.

Margaret also served as a council member for the Executive Institute of Ireland.

As a graduate of Shannon College of Hotel Management, she held managerial positions in a number of Ireland’s leading five and four star hotels including Ashford Castle, Dromoland Castle, Sheen Falls Lodge, Westbury Hotel and Herbert Park Hotel before moving to Sodexo global facilities management company in 2004.

Margaret received first class honours with a distinction in an Entrepreneurship Programme with Ulster University in 2018 and qualified in the delivery and evaluation of training with Professional Development in 2020. In 2022 Margaret graduated with a First-Class Honours master’s in business and hospitality, from the Shannon College of Hotel Management (part of the University of Galway).
